This Privacy Policy explains how X1Tech Solutions SA ("X1", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects information when you visit our website, place an order, or use any X1 product, panel, plugin or module (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
When you visit our website or use the client area, our servers automatically log technical information such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages visited, and access times. We use this information only to keep the Services secure, detect abuse, and understand overall usage patterns. This automatic data is not used to identify you personally.
You can browse our website without giving us any personal information. To place an order, create a client account, or open a support ticket, we ask for information such as:
- Name and contact details (email address, phone number)
- Billing and invoicing details (company name, tax/VAT number, billing address)
- Account credentials for your X1 client area
- Payment method details, handled entirely by our payment providers (see "Payment Processing" below) — we do not store your card or bank details
If you purchase or activate a panel licence, we also process operational data tied to that licence: licence status, the panel's bound IP address, device/MAC identifier, domain, and last-activity timestamp. This data exists to run the licensing and entitlement system that keeps your panel working, to enforce the licence terms, and to let you manage your own slots from the client area.
The Services are not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
We act as a data controller for the account, billing and licensing information described above. We process this information on the following legal bases:
- Performance of the contract between you and X1 (creating your account, provisioning your licence, billing you correctly)
- Compliance with legal obligations (invoicing, tax and accounting rules)
- Our legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving the Services
- Your consent, where we ask for it separately (e.g. marketing communications)
We only use your information for the purposes above: running your account, delivering the Services you purchased, providing support, billing, fraud/abuse prevention, and complying with the law. We do not sell your personal information.
Payments are handled by our payment providers (currently Stripe and PayPal). When you pay, you are redirected to or interact directly with the payment provider's own secure, PCI-compliant systems. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV or bank credentials — only confirmation that a payment succeeded, its amount, and a reference we need for invoicing. Please review the privacy policies of Stripe and PayPal, as their handling of your payment details is governed by their own terms, not ours.
You can review and update most of your account details from the X1 client area. To request deletion of your account or personal information, contact [email protected]. We may keep a copy of certain records (invoices, licence history) for as long as required by tax, accounting or licensing-dispute purposes, even after an account is closed.
We share information only with the service providers strictly necessary to run the Services: our payment providers (Stripe, PayPal), our hosting/infrastructure providers, and, where you contact us via WhatsApp/Telegram, the messaging gateway used to deliver that message. These providers are only given the data they need to perform their function and are not authorised to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law, to comply with a legal request, or to protect our rights, our systems, or the safety of others.
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as required to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations or to resolve disputes. Once that period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised.
Our Services are operated from and for customers primarily within the European Union. Where a service provider we rely on is located outside the EU/EEA, we only use providers that offer an adequate level of protection for your data (e.g. via Standard Contractual Clauses) under the GDPR.
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request erasure of your information, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Our website and client area use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as language and currency), and understand how the site is used. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some features of the client area (such as staying logged in).
We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL) between your browser and our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information protected and to respond quickly if that ever changes.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
